Access Windows VPS via Remote Desktop Program: How to Remote into Windows VPS
Step 1: Prepare login information (RDP)
1.1) You will receive information for remote access to the VPS via your email or from your VPS provider, which includes:
- IP Address: The IP address of the VPS
- Username: Your username on the VPS
- Password: Your password on the VPS
Step 2: Open the Remote Desktop program.
2.1) In your Windows operating system, search for “mstsc” or “Remote Desktop Connection” in the search box.
2.2) Enter the IP address of your VPS in the “Computer” field and click “Connect.”
2.3) Enter your Username and Password, then click “OK”
2.4) Enter your Username and Password, then click “OK”
Step 3: Remote into the VPS
When you enter the correct RDP login information and click “OK,” the Remote Desktop program will begin connecting to your VPS.
After successfully connecting, you will see the Windows VPS screen on your computer. Therefore, when you rent a VPS, you can control it with the same convenience as if you were using a computer right in front of you.
